Alfie Boe

The Bring Him Home Tour

Hall One

‘Bring Him Home’, the show-stopper from ‘Les Miserables’, was the first song tenor Alfie Boe ever performed on stage – at the age of 14. Little did he know then that one day he would be singing it to adoring fans in a tour covering nine of Britain’s finest concert halls. These eagerly anticipated concerts follow in the wake of his hugely successful album which has stormed the UK Album Charts, ‘Bring Him Home’.

Now that Alfie’s admirers, and indeed all vocal aficionados, have seen his incredibly moving performances on the TV broadcast of The Royal Variety Show, and a string of other high profile programmes, everyone will be thrilled to have the chance to see him in the flesh.

The tour truly will be “bringing him home” as the penultimate destination, Blackpool, is not only Boe’s birth place, but the city in which it all began. It was here that a teenage Alfie worked as an apprentice car mechanic at a sports car factory and would often sing to entertain his colleagues. One day he was overheard by a customer who was so impressed he suggested Boe take it further . . .

And so many are thankful that he did. What better way to bring Alfie Boe’s most successful year to date to a close than by doing what he does best: using his glorious, ringing tenor voice to make the magic of the musicals ever more enchanting?
