Accordion player Gary Forrest, from the Scottish Borders, has played with and gained experience from the likes of Fergie Macdonald, Iain McPhail and Phil Cunningham. Gary is accompanied by Will Chamberlain, from Hexham, on piano.
Yorkshire born singer-songwriter and guitarist Harry Rowland draws influence from jazz, folk, blues and classical; he has performed with acts from afro-beat projects, to jazz combos and folk trios.
Young ballad singer from Cumbria, Maz O’Connor, has appeared as guest singer with Last Orders, winners of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award 2007, before going on to become a finalist in the competition herself in 2009. Maz will be accompanied by Matthew Jones on guitar. His beautiful and sympathetic playing and arrangements perfectly complement the music and songs.
