Come along for a great day of singing for the New Year. No prior experience is needed and you don’t need to be able to read music. You’ll learn a selection of well-known operatic choral favourites and then perform them for your friends and family at the end of the day (tickets for the performance are free and available to book here). Experienced choir leader Simon Fidler will guide you through this exciting day of choral discovery.
Accompanied by Northern Sinfonia, orchestra of The Sage Gateshead.

- 9.30-10.30am Registration on the concourse
- 10.30-12.30am Rehearsal/Workshop
- 12.30-1.30pm Lunch
- 1.30-3.15pm Rehearsal/Workshop
- 3.15-3.30pm Break
- 3.30-4.30pm Rehearsal with orchestra
- 4.30-5.30pm Tea break
- 5.30 – 6pm Performance in Hall One
