Silver Choir

Day: Tuesdays, 10.30am-12.30pm
Venue: The Sage Gateshead
 
Silver Choir is a small group of singers, drawn from the main Silver Programme, who are invited to go out and perform at a variety of different events. These range from showing our brand of singing to new satellite groups being set up around Northumberland, to performing at conferences and events. Led by Gilly Love, Silver Choir sings unaccompanied and without copies, providing many musical challenges. 
 
h2. What happens during the weekly sessions?

“Weekly sessions can be a mixture of some mistakes, a lot of learning and much laughter and friendship. Representing the older generation and performing at events gives me a ‘feel good factor’.” Silver Choir Participant
