Silver Breves

Days: Mondays, 10.30am-12pm

A classical music singing group for those who like to attempt more complicated and challenging sacred and secular work from Elizabethan madrigals to contemporary settings of religious works. There are many performance opportunities – the most recent being a performance of Faure’s Requiem with Graeme Danby in St Mary’s Cathedral, Newcastle. Acquaintance with using written music is helpful, but not essential. Once a month we hold an open rehearsal out of the building.
