Community Music Spark Diary 30th November

Posted on 30 November 2012

Community Music Spark is The Sage Gateshead’s community music training programme for adults with learning disabilities. We currently work with four volunteer participants, three of whom have attended previously on work placements from MENCAP National College Dilston, Northern Counties College and Dryden School. The saga continues…

Graeme: Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the sparkest of them all?

Andrew: Today there is no Marc as he is performing with Twisting Ducks and no Paul because he is away.

Andrew: We will see both Marc and Paul next week.

Mel: I have had so much fun this afternoon, coming up with a new game called ‘Quickchange’.

Graeme: This morning we did I Feel Good warm up and then accapella with PRS on their song ‘Valerie’.

John: I had a good time with PRS this morning.

Andrew: Myself and Mat did some editing on the PRS song ‘Valerie’. It was such mind bogglingly complicated to do but both of us coped well with it.

Graeme: We made up a game called Quickchange where we had to think of a random word and change the sound of the phrase.

Andrew: This Wednesday coming, myself and Graeme are watching Lesley Roley at The Bridge Hotel in Newcastle starting at 7:30pm. Do please come along and see her.

The Community Music Spark team will return next week.
