Making a gift in your will

Making a Gift in your Will is one of the most enduring gifts you can make. Leaving a legacy to The Sage Gateshead means that your donation will go on supporting our work long into the future.

Leaving a Gift in your Will is also beneficial to you and your family as it can reduce inheritance tax.

You can make a gift of a specific sum or a percentage of the remainder of your estate. You may choose to leave a gift of one or more specific items of your property.

If you have already made a will and do not plan to make another, the simplest way to include The Sage Gateshead in your Will is to add a Codicil to your will. A Codicil is a separate legal document that makes changes or additions to an existing Will.

If you inform us that you plan to make a gift in your Will to support The Sage Gateshead, you will be invited to join our Legacy Circle, which is our way of saying thanks, involving you in our work and acknowledging your support. If you would prefer not to join the Legacy Circle and / or would prefer to remain anonymous, we will of course respect your wishes.
